February 22-26, 2010

This very likely could be our first complete week of school since December! Here's a look at what's coming up:

Bible: Two next lessons in the text book.

US History: We should finish lecture notes for Test 14 on Wednesday and I anticipate having the test by the first of next week. This week's homework assignment introduces the history of the US over the last 50 years - I hope you enjoy it!

Spanish I - We begin vocabulary quizzes on Monday and should finish chapter 6 Lesson 17 by Wednesday, ready to test on Friday.

Spanish II - We will spend this week preparing for our test that covers Chapters 1-4. Please stay on top of the review and be ready to do your best - we're done with review for the year...it's all brand new material from here on!

Five points test bonus in US History to anyone who can bring in a piece of election memorabilia from any election that has already occurred - don't be stealing yard signs!

  1. Why is Nuclear Energy so efficient?

During the Fission Process, some mass is converted to energy. The formula for this is E=MC2. E is energy, M is mass, and C is the speed of light! The speed of light is squared in the equation. If you had one gram of mass converted into energy you would have 25 million kilowatt hours produced!

  2. Would a few TIME magazine articles about the last election count???
