Welcome back from Thanksgiving break! I hope you've had a wonderful time and enjoyed being with friends and family. Our home was blessed last week by the arrival of our newborn son, and he made the holiday extra festive this year! Here's a look at the week ahead:
Bible: We'll cover lessons 25 and 26 in class and quiz over the verses on Friday.
Spanish I: Remember to follow your calendar exactly - which includes a vocabulary quiz on Monday!
Spanish II: We begin chapter 4 this week and will be taking vocab quizzes Tuesday through Friday.
Arts Appreciation - last week of set building! Classic movies resume next week.
US History: This week we'll be discussing the Gilded Age. Remember to do your online homework! Depending on how we're able to move through the lecture there's a chance we'll be able to get the test in by Friday.
AP US History: This week our focus will be the non-DBQ essays. There will be a chapter quiz on Wednesday.
Everyone please come out on Thursday evening to support the Drama and Music programs for the performance of "Little Women"!

Daylight savings time change! So nice to get that extra hour of sleep - let's hope that it translates to a good week of school. Here's a look at the week ahead:
Spanish I: We continue to stay COMPLETELY on schedule - follow your calendars, please!
Spanish II: After the disruption of the soccer tournament and missing this monday for school pictures we will discuss on Wednesday the plan to get everyone back on track - make up tests will be given by Friday so that next week we are back on schedule.
AP US History: We will need to move quickly this week - quizzes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in order to make up for time lost last week. Those who missed the test (Ch 12-15) because of the soccer tournament will make it up on Thursday.
US History: Homework completion rates continue to be absurdly low. Detentions will be handed out for habitual failure to complete assignments! We will test by the end of the week over the Civil War.
Bible: Lessons 21-22 this week. There will be a unit test after we've copleted lesson 24!
Arts Appreciation: We will be decorating the set for the drama performance this week and next before continuing our classic movie section.
