August 29-September 2, 2011

Hopefully this cooler weather holds - at least it reminds us that the "new" is off this school year and we are making progress in each class! Here's a look at the week ahead:

Spanish I: Continue following your calendar closely. There is a test on Wednesday over chapter 2 lesson 2. Remember to keep up with your daily quizzes! Parents, you can email me for an electronic copy of the vocabulary lists and homework/quiz/test calendar.

Spanish II: very similar to the Spanish I plan - test on Wednesday. Everything is in your calendar!

Arts and Humanities: Poetry introduction via powerpoint for several days then the introduction of your poetry project that will comprise the other main component of your first quarter grade.

AP US History: Remember to follow your calendar! Test over chapters 1-4 on Wednesday (review on Monday and Tuesday) and then we dive into Document Based Questions on Thursday.

US History: I have one more page of notes on test 2, but it might take me until Tuesday to wrap them up. We'll test at the end of the week. Remember to do your online homework!

Bible: Lessons 5 and 6 in class this week. So far so good! Keep up with your Bible verse memorization!

Bonus Opportunity: Print a copy of this post and put it in the box at the back of the room by Wednesday morning for a Spanish I or II homework pass. God bless!
